06 Jan 2011 -06 January 2011 - UNAMID international civilian staff member, Istvan Papp, who was released yesterday after 90 days in captivity, underwent a medical examination both by a UNAMID Medical Team and Alamal specialist hospital in Khartoum. He appeared to be in high spirit and good health.

29 Dec 2010 -29 December 2010 - Aid continues to flow into makeshift camps outside UNAMID team sites in North and South Darfur, where thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) have sought refuge from recent clashes. However distribution to Shangil Tobaya in North Darfur has been momentarily suspended today after new restrictions on movement were put in place.
