14 Feb 2011 - 13 February 2011 - UNAMID peacekeepers in Shangil Tobaya, North Darfur, report that on 12 February, armed gunmen robbed a number of households in the Shaddad camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs). The criminals fled, leaving behind the stolen items, once UNAMID’s forces mobilized in the camp. No significant injuries have been reported and local government officials are currently in pursuit of the culprits.

13 Feb 2011 - 10 February 2011 - Nigerian peacekeepers at the UNAMID team site in Graida, South Darfur, yesterday provided medical assistance to more than 30 patients as part of their community outreach program. Similar initiatives are being prepared in other UN bases.
