05 Apr 11 - South Darfur police train in Human Rights

 

05 April 2011 - UNAMID police peacekeepers in Graida, South Darfur, concluded a two-day training course for 25 government police officers, which covered UNAMID’s mandate, international standards for law enforcement and human rights.

The workshop, which included a class in basic computer skills, is part of a wider series aimed at building the capacity of local police officers.
