11 June 2008 -- The leadership and personnel of UNAMID wish to convey their condolences to the government and people of Sudan after the terrible accident at Khartoum airport on 10 June which resulted in such tragic loss of life.

Our thoughts and prayers at this time are with the families of those who have lost their loved ones and for those injured in this dreadful plane crash.
