22 March 2011 - North Sudan Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) Commission in partnership with UNAMID and UNDP organized yesterday a sensitization workshop in El Geneina, West Darfur. The workshop was aimed at bringing together state and civil society stakeholders to enhance their understanding of the DDR process and to raise awareness on community security and arms control. Among the 150 participants, were representatives from civil society, signatory movements, Government officials and the native administration.
