18 January 2011 - UNHCR, in coordination with UNAMID, UNICEF and local authorities, organized today in Abu Shouk camp, near El Fasher, North Darfur, a peace building and conflict analysis workshop. The session was attended by more than 50 representatives from both Abu Shouk and Al Salaam internally displaced persons (IDP) camps, native administration leaders, and women and youth representatives. The training served as a forum for discussing the root causes of the conflict.
