The exercise, organized in collaboration with the State Ministry of Health and the UN World Health Organization (WHO), is aimed at assisting prisoners who don’t have regular access to health services at the detention center.

The peacekeepers provided consultation and treatment for more than 300 prisoners suffering from various ailments and distributed various medications as needed. They also advised the inmates on health and hygiene matters.

The Mission’s Military Medical Team includes personnel from Pakistan, China, Egypt, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Nepal and Sierra Leone.
