Promoting social cohesion and peaceful coexistence through cultural diversity was the aim of a recent UNAMID-supported cultural festival in Zalingei, Central Darfur. The event – which was also supported by the State Ministry of Social Affairs, Culture and Information – included traditional dance and ran under the theme ‘Let us work together to promote peace’.
