A joint UNAMID-Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) mission recently provided emergency assistance to communities affected by mudslides in the villages of Wadi Tuliba and Tagulei, East Jebel Marra, South Darfur. The mission provided medical assistance and distributed non-food items including tents, blankets, mosquito nets, kitchen sets and plastic sheets for shelter to some 76 affected families. 20 people were killed by the mudslides.
