27 April; As part of UNAMID drawdown plan prior to its exit from Darfur, the Mission handed over its water point at Tayba area in Zalingei to the Central Darfur state authorities. The hand over documents were signed by Mr. Lameck Kawiche, Chief Regional Field Coordination Team on behalf of UNAMID and Mr. Ahmed Adam Ismail, representative of the Wali (Governor) of Central Darfur, signed on behalf of the local authorities.
