On 25 April 2016, the United Nations Independent Expert on the situation of human rights in Sudan, Aristide Nononsi, (pictured here in a brown jacket) visited El-Daein, East Darfur, where he interacted with South Sudanese refugees at the Khor Omer Camp. During the meeting he was briefed on their various challenges including severe shortage of water, medicine and food. Mr. Nononsi just concluded a 3-day visit to Darfur.
