18 November; UNAMID Protection of Civilians Team in the State Liaison Functions (SLFs), North Darfur and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducted a capacity building workshop on enhancing protection and mitigating drivers of communal conflicts for community representatives and local authorities of Kuwaim and Tyklat return villages in El Fasher locality, North Darfur. Some 70 participants, including students from the University of El Fasher, attended the workshop aimed at supporting resilience, livelihoods and durable solutions for the displaced population and host communities in the area.
