On 17 July 2019, a Joint team from UNAMID and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), inspected work progress at South Darfur’s UN State Liaison Functions (SLFs)-supported construction of a Human Rights Resource Centre at Nyala University premises. The Centre which contains a conference facility and a library will be used to strengthen students’ capacity in Human Rights issues. The Centre will also have a legal clinic to be run by law students targeting rural communities and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in South Darfur. Photo by Kone Mouroulaye, UNAMID.
