17 September; UNAMID Rule of Law Team in the UN State Liaison Functions in West Darfur, in collaboration with the Legal Aid Department at the University of El Geneina, west Darfur conducted a one-day legal awareness raising session for internally displaced persons (IDPs) from various Camps near El Geneina. One hundred and nineteen people, including 83 women, attended the session aimed at enhancing public awareness on the Sudanese Laws and the basic concept of Human Rights, Women and Child rights.
