On 21 May 2019, UNAMID’s Communications and Public Information Section (CPIS) handed over solar wind-up radio sets to members from the Union of Visually Impaired People in Zalingei, Central Darfur. The project is part of the Mission’s support to the most vulnerable local groups in the community to enable them to access nformation on their country, specially to messages on the Mission’s activities and transition process.
