On 6 March 2017, UNAMID handed over a classroom block to the Girls’ Secondary School at the Krinding camp for internally displaced persons in West Darfur. Funded by the UNAMID National Staff Association, the two-classroom extension is a direct response to the school’s growing needs and part of the Mission’s efforts to create a conducive learning environment for Darfuri students.
