UNAMID’s Rule of Law Section organized a two-day training workshop on Trial Monitoring and Re-establishment of the Criminal justice Chain in Zalingei, Central Darfur, from 5 to 6 November for 30 participants representing Prosecutors, lawyers and civil society members. The training, was aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society and justice system stake holders to monitorcriminal trials to see whether fair trial procedures are followed in the criminal justice process.
