Some 25 Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) officers attended a recent UNAMID-supported training workshop on protection of children in armed conflict in Nyala, South Darfur. The workshop is part of the Mission’s campaign to sensitize parties to the conflict on issues pertinent to child rights and protection, including preventing as well as ending recruitment of child soldiers.
