On 14 March 2017, UNAMID’s Water and Environmental Protection Section participated in a two-day exhibition organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in partnership with the state government and Practical Action in El Fasher, North Darfur. The event shared lessons from the Wadi El Ku Catchment Management Project, which aims to strengthen livelihoods and contribute to peace through sustainable management of water and other natural resources.
