A UNAMID delegation, led by the Mission’s Chief Regional Field Coordination Officer, Lameck Kawiche, recently met with the Central Darfur Wali (Governor), Dr. Adeeb Abdurahman Yousif (center), at the latter’s office in Zalingei. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to security situation in IDPs camps and the protection role of the Sudanese Police Force in various camps and villages prior to UNAMID’s planned exit from Darfur by the end of December 2020.
