On 27 August 2019, UNAMID's Governance and Community Stabilization Section (GCSS) organized a peaceful coexistence dialogue forum between farmers and herders in Taringa village, Central Darfur. The forum, attended by more than 400 participants including community leaders, was aimed at mitigating conflict between the two groups, especially during the current rainy and harvest seasons.
