On 1 July 2019, UNAMID’s Communications and Public Information Section in collaboration with the Mission’s Women Protection Advisor’s Office, organized an Open Day in Terage village in Central Darfur. The event was aimed at inspiring the local community to participate in the peace process, promoting culture of tolerance and dialogue among different segments of the society including a brief on the elimination of sexual violence in conflict.
