01 June; UNAMID handed over advanced medical equipment and furniture (inside the trucks) to the Isolation Center and Zalingei Teaching Hospital in Zalingei town in central Darfur. The ceremony, attended by Mission Senior staff and Sudanese health authority officials, is part of the Mission’s overall response to improve local health facilities and support the host community in combating the spread of COVID-19.
