The event was co-chaired by UNAMID Joint Special Representative Ibrahim Gambari and the United Nations Country Team today in Khartoum, along with UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator Georg Charpentier.

At the top of the agenda was a briefing on the latest security developments on the ground in Darfur. This was followed by discussions on the humanitarian situation and the strategies of UN entities operating in the region for durable solutions to their common challenges.
