21 March 2011 - Twenty-five leading members of Zalingei civil society in West Darfur today attended a UNAMID workshop on financial management. The participants, among them national aid workers, academics, and leaders of native administrations, women and youth groups, discussed planning and budgeting projects for local communities and their governments.

The event was organized by UNAMID Civil Affairs section, which is currently financing numerous ongoing Quick Impact Projects in Darfur.
