21 July 2010 - UNAMID conducted an HIV and AIDS induction training for 112 members of the Mission’s South African Contingent and 17 Civilian Police Advisors at the Malha Team Site, located roughly 175km northeast of El Fasher, North Darfur. The event, held over the period of 18-19 July, covered how the personnel may integrate HIV and AIDS concerns in their Community Policing and patrol activities. An additional awareness session was held yesterday for 59 new arrivals at the Mission's Integrated Mission Training Cell in El Fasher, North Darfur.
