02 August 2010 - A traffic collision in Nyala, South Darfur, yesterday evening resulted in the deaths of three UNAMID military peacekeepers from Sierra Leone. Another who was critically injured in the accident was evacuated to Khartoum, but passed way early this morning.

UNAMID Deputy Joint Special Representative Mohamed Yonis is today in Nyala to pay his respects to the Sierra Leonean troops.
