EL FASHER - Dispute settlement was the focus of a UNAMID-supported workshop for Sudan rural courts judges and officials that took place recently in El Fasher, North Darfur.

EL FASHER – Remembering fallen peacekeepers was a key part of a ceremony observing the International Day of UN Peacekeepers held at UNAMID headquarters in El Fasher, North Darfur today.

Sudha Uprety, from UNAMID’s Gender Advisory Unit (GAU), has been working with the Mission for the past four years. Based in El Fasher, North Darfur, Sudha interacts regularly with civilian, military and police peacekeepers as well as the local population in her role as Team Leader, Sector North.
