07 March 2011 - A UNAMID Mine Action Team yesterday visited Kushiny area, 22 km southeast of Tawilla, North Darfur, to destroy UXOs (unexploded ordnance) which were dropped by Sudanese Armed Forces on 24 February. On 5 March, UNAMID’s Mine Action Team similarly disposed of an unexploded rocket in Meresa, 33 km southeast of Kulbus, West Darfur.
