21 June 2011 - UNAMID launched a four-day training workshop yesterday for members of the West Darfur Compensations Commission in El Geneina.
The capacity-building training covered such issues as national laws and regulations on compensation relating to the Darfur conflict, precedents in other African countries, gender issues in compensation and the accountability of the commission’s employees.
