19 April 2010 - With the conclusion of the national elections, the focus now shifts on to the continuation of the Doha peace negotiations. Today UNAMID’s office in El Geneina, West Darfur, hosted a consultative meeting for representatives of civil society organizations from across the state.The meeting was attended by 55 participants from numerous youth groups, women’s unions and national NGOs to complete the selection process which began in March 2010.
