25 April 2010 - UNAMID and the State of South Darfur have unveiled a campaign designed to raise awareness of sexual and gender-based violence. The joint initiative, which launched today in Nyala, one of the Sudan's largest cities, will use 60 billboards in the region in a bid to start dialogues on this sensitive matter.
