21 February 2010 - UNAMID Joint Special Representative (JSR) Ibrahim Gambari, yesterday, met with the US Special Envoy, Scott Gration in Khartoum. Mr. Gration informed JSR Gambari of the activities in support of the Darfur peace process. They agreed to continue to coordinate their efforts aimed at bringing peace to the region. Mr. Gration also indicated US preparedness to support activities and projects that improve security in Darfur.JSR Gambari later met with the Director General of Intelligence Security, General Mohammed Atta. They exchanged views on issues related to UNAMID’s work on the ground.
