27 April 2010 - UNAMID senior officials yesterday joined representatives from over 20 other agencies and peacekeeping operations in Geneva for the start of a three-day seminar on the integration of human rights in the work of UN police and military components in peace operations.The workshop aims at providing a forum for the exchange of ideas on how to enhance cooperation between Human Rights and uniformed components in such areas as monitoring, advocacy, capacity building and the protection of civilians.
