28 June 2010 - UNAMID began today a three-day workshop on “Conflict Resolution, Reconciliation, Negotiation and Mediation” for 100 native administrators and members of the Zalingei Peaceful Coexistence Committee.
The workshop aims at enhancing the participants’ capacity to settle tribal disputes in an area where ongoing clashes continue to claim lives. The objective is for the beneficiaries to share the knowledge gained with other local leaders when they return to their communities.
