23 August 2009 -- AU-UN Joint Special Representative, Mr. Rodolphe Adada, today met with the Chairman of the African Union Panel on Darfur (AUPD), Mr. Thabo Mbeki and discussed with him the recent activities of the Panel and the 31 August meeting in Addis Ababa when which the panel will work to finalize the report to be submitted to the African Union CommissionThe AUPD will in Khartoum hold this week a series of meetings with Government of Sudan officials as well as civil society organizations before proceeding to Darfur where they are expected to hold a series of meetings with different stakeholders.
