11 October 2010 - UNAMID yesterday kicked off a five-day training seminar for 30 police officers from the Ardamata prison compound, located on the outskirts of El Geneina, West Darfur.
The workshop, led by the Mission’s Rule of Law component and backed by UNDP, aims at training prison staff in international human rights standards of prison management.
