04 May 2011 - The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) president, Margaret Biggs, conducted today a one-day visit to El Fasher, North Darfur. Biggs met with the JSR Ibrahim Gambari and was briefed on the political, security and humanitarian developments in the region. Afterward, she departed for Zam Zam internally displaced persons (IDP) camp to observe the humanitarian situation and the work of UN agencies and NGOs there.
