    Today’s programme features UNAMID’s activities in protecting the environment in Darfur as part of the celebration of World Environment Day. To date the Mission has planted 310,000 trees across Darfur and has helped the people of Darfur to get clean water. The Mission has recently inaugurated a new borehole at Ardamata IDPs camp in ElGeneina West Darfur.

He aspires to become a journalist.

    Today’s programme features a role of civil administration in Darfur in resolving conflicts between pastoralists and farmers as well as an interview with Kaltoum Folo, a  midwife from El Fasher on how to take care of a pregnant woman until she delivers her baby in a conflict zone.
