Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<div style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio&rsquo;s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women&rsquo;s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.</div>

<li style="text-align: justify;">Rev. Dr. Olu Menjay-Principal /Chief Administrative Officer / Ricks Institute comments on the postponement of the 9th graders WEAC exams</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Atty. Ambrose Nmah &ndash; Director of Communications / Liberia Judiciary spoke about a 3 day Judiciary retreat.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Winston Dayue - Communications Officer / UN Women, UN and partners launch the social culture audit involving Traditional leaders.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Daniel Nyankona - Secretary General / Press Union of Liberia -PUL and partners to conduct a research study on the impact of media coverage on women&#39;s health</li>
