On 18 September 2019, UNAMID Protection of Civilians Section and UN High Commissioner for Refugees’ Khartoum Office, organized a workshop in Zalingei, Central Darfur, on protection monitoring during the Mission’s transition and different approaches required in the peace keeping and peace building areas to ensure a smooth transition towards stabilization and peace building, which includes the strengthening of a protective environment and the support to communities’ protection networks.
