On 20 May 2018, UNAMID Joint Special Representative (JSR) Jeremiah Mamabolo concluded a two-day visit to Golo, Jebel Marra, Central Darfur. He commended UNAMID personnel for progress made on the establishment of the Mission’s temporary operating base. The JSR also expressed concern over recent clashes and new displacements in the area.
