From 19 to 20 May 2019, UNAMID’s Gender Advisory Unit, in partnership with UN WOMEN, organized the 9th UNSCR 1325 Global Open Day in El Fasher, North Darfur. The event, which brought together more than 100 participants from all five Darfur States, is aimed at reviewing the implementation of the provisions of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
