On 18 March 2019, a joint African Union-United Nations Strategic Assessment Team on UNAMID held a meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The meeting, attended by UNAMID Joint Special Representative, Mr. Jeremiah Mamabolo (3rd right), discussed issues related to the Mission’s ongoing transition process and eventual exit from Darfur in June 2020 as mandated by the UN Security Council Resolution 2429 (2018).
