13 May; Health workers and volunteers in Zalingei, Central Darfur attended a week-long training on awareness and preventives measures to combat COVID-19. The training, organized by UNAMID’s Governance and Community Stabilization Section, aimed at equipping the participants with knowledge to raise internally displaced persons’ awareness of Coronavirus, is part of the Mission’s overall response to support the host community in combating the spread of COVID-19.
