On 7 October 2018, UNAMID’s Governance and Community Stabilization Section (GCSS) organized a consultation and dialogue forum for farmers and herders in El Arid area, East Darfur.  Some 85 participants, including 52 women, attended the event, aimed at sensitizing the two communities on the importance of peaceful coexistence and advocating for a successful harvest season.
