On 6 November 2017, UNAMID handed over a rehabilitated health centre to the local authorities at Um Kardous village, Beleil locality, South Darfur. The upgraded facility, which was refurbished through the Mission’s Quick Impact Projects programme, will provide healthcare services to more than 7,000 families residing in the area.
