31 August; UNAMID Team on the handover of the Mission’s Team Sites and Facilities visited the Mission’s Team Site in Khore Abeche, South Darfur. The Team met with Government of Sudan officials and community leaders and exchanged views on the security situation, development prospects in the locality and explored ways the local community could effectively utilize UNAMID’s assets and facilities after the Mission’s departure from Darfur, possibly by the end of December 2020.
