13 February is annually commemorated as World Radio Day. In his message, the UN Secretary- General, Antonio Guterres, stated that “as we strive to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and tackle the climate crisis, radio has a key role to play as a source of information and inspiration alike.” UNAMID observed the day with the local community in Zalingei, Central Darfur.
