On 9 October 2019, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix and the African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security, Mr. Smail Chergui accompanied by UNAMID Joint Special Representative, Mr. Jeremiah Mamabolo met in Khartoum with the Sudan Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok.
